Infant feeding resources for ECE services
We have partnered with the Heart Foundation to create these resources for Early Childhood Education (ECE) services to use. Please feel free to download them and display at your centre to support kaimahi (staff) on how to safely store and handle expressed breastmilk and formula.

These A4 factsheets are intended for use in manuals or booklets. The larger A3 posters can be printed out and stuck to the fridge or on a wall, in an area where bottles of breastmilk or formula are prepared.

Feeding Pēpi Milk Procedure
This resource has been created to support your service to develop procedures to help ensure safe storage and preparation of breastmilk and infant formula. It also aims to support and encourage māmā/kaiako to continue breastfeeding when their pēpi starts childcare. Please adapt it to suit your centres needs and policies. The resource includes information on:
