The Tairāwhiti Lactation Consultant Service provides in-person breastfeeding support by an IBCLC (international board certified lactation consultant) for those living in Tairāwhiti District. Follow up and referrals provided as required.

As part of Hapu Wananga, we offer a free home-visiting breastfeeding support service with a Lactation Consultant and trainee Lactation Consultants. We also offer antenatal breastfeeding classes.
