Women seeking long-term contraceptives now have more options to choose from following Pharmac’s announcement it will fund Mirena and Jaydess from next month.

The Government’s drug buying agency announced the move to widen access to the intrauterine devices (IUDs) on Monday.

The devices will be funded from November 1.
